Remake de la película Män som hatear kvinnor (Hombres que odian a las mujeres) y que fue producida en Suecia en el año de 2009 y basada en la novela de Stieg Larson, donde un rico industrial contrata a un periodista Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) para saber qué fue de su joven sobrina de 16 años que desapareció sin dejar rastro y en el camino es ayudado por Lisbeth Salender (Rooney Mara) joven hacker, esta película forma parte de la trilogía Millenium.
