Si hablamos de William Emmanuel Bevan, no sabríamos exactamente quien es, o si decimos que en el 2006 lanzo un álbum homónimo no identificaríamos cual, y menos que la critica lo recibió muy bien y la revista The Wire nombro su primer disco como el disco del año.
Su segundo disco aparecen pistas extraordinarias, una de ellas trae el mismo nombre del disco Untrue, este contiene una version del sample “Resentment” original de Beyoncé y también de “Whisper” de Ernie Halter.
En febrero del 2008 el periódico The Independent publicó que William Emmanuel Bevan o alías Burial músico electrónico británico del sur de Londres, el cual es el artista que hemos estado hablando y que su identidad en abril de ese año fue presentada por el mismo periódico.
El se ha mantenido recluido, dando pocas entrevistas y evitando apariciones públicas, a colaborado por ejemplo con Four Teo, Massive Attack, Thom Yorke y Zombie, también ha influenciado artistas como Björk, Nicolas Jaar, James Blake.
Ahora después de esta pequeña introducción llegamos al disco el cual nos referimos en esta reseña Tunes 2011-2019, es su segunda compilación conformada en 2 CD, una antología de 17 canciones a través de 149 minutos que lanzo en la celebración de los 15 años de Hyperdub en ocho años de trabajo, esta cronología no es una copia en el orden de los track como en sus versiones originales viene, es una secuencia no fracturada de profundo impacto que te hará viajar en zonas inesperadas de la electrónica moderna, no sabemos si en realidad el interprete deseaba que la secuencia de todo su material viniera así, para llevarte de la tranquila y larga oscuridad, a lugares que te erizarían la piel con una textura rica, armados en espacios que se dan en blanco, estática y chirridos que te jalaran y no sabes sin estar hechos adrede y al final de nuevo a ese espacio oscuro con el que comenzó.
Este disco contiene grandes canciones como State Forest, Stolen Dog, Truan, Subtemple, Young Death, Nightmarket, Claustro, Come Down to Us y Street Halo entre otras, canciones que deseabas conseguir y ya no te fue posible adquirir el LP.

Now after this short introduction we come to the album which we refer to in this review Tunes 2011-2019, it is his second compilation made up of 2 CDs, an anthology of 17 songs over 149 minutes that he released in celebration of the 15 years of Hyperdub in eight years of work, this chronology is not a copy in the order of the tracks as in its original versions it comes, it is a non-fractured sequence of deep impact that will make you travel in unexpected areas of modern electronics, we do not know if in In reality, the interpreter wanted the sequence of all his material to come like this, to take you from the calm and long darkness, to places that would make your skin stand on end with a rich texture, armed in spaces that are blank, static and squeaks that pull you and you don't know without being purposely done and in the end back to that dark space that it started with.
This album contains great songs like State Forest, Stolen Dog, Truan, Subtemple, Young Death, Nightmarket, Claustro, Come Down to Us and Street Halo among others, songs that you wanted to achieve and you were no longer able to acquire the LP.
