Tōltēcah

Inspirada en la cultura tōltēcah (Tolteca - Maestros Constructores), Philip Glass ha realizado su obra "Tolteca" que es el título de la Sinfonía nº 7 la cual refiere las tradiciones y creencias de esta cultura precolombina y que dominó el centro de México, su lengua fue el Náhuatl.

Su obra esta inspirada en la trinidad Wirrarika (aunque en realidad son cuatro principales deidades según sus creencias religiosas, Maíz, Águilas, Ciervos, Peyote) y esta dividida en tres movimientos El Maíz, El Hikuri y el Venado Azul.

El Maíz representan el primero el vinculo con la madre tierra.

El Hikuri es la puerta al mundo de los espíritus.

El Venado Azul es el titular del conocimiento.

Con sus riqueza tradicionales y sus creencias la cultura Mexicana , siempre han levantado mucho interés, ahora ha sido participe en esta obra, espero que el movimiento tres que les dejo sea de su agrado.



Inspired by the culture tōltēcah (Toltec - Master Builders), Philip Glass has done its work "Toltec" is the title of the Symphony No. 7 which relates the traditions and beliefs of the pre-Columbian culture that dominated central Mexico, its was the Nahuatl language.

His work was inspired by the trinity Wirrarika (although in reality there are four main deities according to their religious beliefs, Corn, eagles, deer, peyote) and is divided into three movements Corn, Blue Deer and Hikuri.

The Corn represents the first link with the mother earth.

The Hikuri is the gateway to the world of spirits.

The Blue Deer is the holder of knowledge.

With their wealth and beliefs traditional Mexican culture, have always raised much interest, has now been involved in this work, I hope the movement three let them be to your liking.
