Sus grabaciones bajo su propio nombre han ganado importancia en los últimos años y ha dado a conocer como uno de los maestros Buchla preeminentes en América del Norte, el debuta con su album Sonno en el 2002 con la firma Hospital Productions.

Sonno fue grabado en habitaciones de un hotel, con un Roland MC 202 a través de un pedal de delay, registró directo, a veces en un pequeño sistema de altavoces portátil, Cortini comenta, "Me gustaba caminar por la habitación con una grabadora de mano pienso que mas tarde que al escucharla la secuencia sonaría mejor, abrir las llaves, puertas o ventanas para ver cómo los sonidos ambientales inter actúan con el sonido del MC 202. Fue muy relajante y liberador hacer música de esta manera ... "

Tales from the Tabula Rasa, música muy influenciada por los antiguos mitos, leyendas, religión, la filosofía y la historia, la salida se denomina cuentos en vez de canciones, en su forma más temprana, y cuando no había pasado y el futuro era único, y en su mente mas creativa de la música de Peter Andersson.
Ahora si te es posible aun encontrar los cassette que forman este disco seria conveniente que los adquieras, ya que este digipak de dos disco no incluyen 6 canciones que intencionalmente debieron sacar por tener sonidos muy sórdidos, molestos y estridentes
